knick-knacks

After finishing a major project like my winter coat, I usually turn towards smaller projects that can be finished quickly and provide instant crafting gratification.
Therefore it was jewelry making time again.

Inspired by the totally awesome Vamoose who's making the most beautiful and ethereal jewelry, I bought some semi precious stone beads and supplies from DaWanda and got crafty.
Now I've been following her blog for the longest time, it was one of the first ones I discovered to exist in the WWW 5 years ago, and while I have to wait a bit longer to be able to affort a splurge on her pieces, I'm pretty happy with the stuff I came up with.

Also now that there's only one major project to tackle on my home decor list (reworking the kitchen chairs), I'm 98% happy with my flat (not saying I wasn't happy before but now it's really close to perfection). While lately I shopped most things, I also made a small DIY contribution for my corridor with some DIY art. Simple stuff, really, but I thought it would be fun to share.

Some stencil art:

And a two colored paper with half hearts cut out and folded over to expose the backside:

Have a nice weekend everybody!
